FKU30 fire dampers, Series FKU31, are suitable for suspended ceilings with 30 minutes fire resistance period in the design of bolted and plastered panel-type ceilings as well as metal ceilings. The ceilings can be free-hanging, wide-span, suspended and combined via ceiling moulding.
The casing and damper blade are made of temperature-resistant, abrasion-proof calcium silicate. FKU30 fire dampers have a lateral connection piece, thermally intumescent seals and a thermal release mechanism for 70°C, manually or motor-driven.
Depending on the type of diffuser, air guidance components may be required for supply air applications using FKU30 fire dampers in order to ensure uniform air distribution with minimum sound power level. FKU30 fire dampers are available in nominal sizes from 325 to 600 mm.
