IV. General information on data processing
1. Scope of data processing
The Wildeboer-Net Assistant app is designed to make it easy to start using your Wildeboer-Net communication system. With the help of the app, you can enter a comment and an AKS key (system identification key) for each field device in your ventilation system. Optionally, you can store additional project information, project contacts and images of the installation situations, as well as scan and save the barcode of our components.
You can then import the data into the Wildeboer-Net software using our export function.
2. Access rights
In order to offer the app functions outlined above, we require partial access to your smartphone. We will, of course, inform you of this at the appropriate point and will only access your device with your consent.
Specifically, we require the following permissions:
Camera
In order to take pictures of the installation situations with our app, to scan the barcode of Wildeboer components or to activate the flash when scanning a barcode, it is necessary that you allow us access to your camera.
Address book
In order to add contact details from your address book to your project contacts, we need access to your address book. We will of course only import those contacts into the app that you have previously selected.
Storage
In order for the photos taken via the Wildeboer-Net Assistant app to be stored on your device, we need write access to your device storage. We also require read access to your storage in order to import photos from your gallery.
As a user, you can revoke these access rights at any time. To do so, use the authorisation system on your smartphone.
Please also note that without the access rights requested by the app, you will not be able to use the app to its full extent and not all app functions will be available.
3. Duration of storage
