The solutions support key work steps throughout the planning process. Wildeboer Connect enables product configuration and operational point calculation, structured project management – including the compilation of items and the creation of bills of quantities – as well as order tracking. WiDim is used for product identification and dimensioning based on project-specific requirements, as well as for interface-based transfer to building services planning software. The BIM Converter handles the transfer and further processing of configured products to AutoCAD and Revit. This provides end-to-end support from the initial selection right through to integration into the planning process.
The tools do not form a monolithic solution, but rather support clearly defined areas of responsibility. They can be deployed specifically where they offer the greatest added value in each planning stage – from selection and structuring through to integration into the planning process.
Wildeboer Connect is entirely browser-based and can be used without installation. WiDim and the BIM Converter, on the other hand, are local applications that need to be installed and can therefore be run independently of a browser.
Yes, operating points can be calculated in all three solutions. This means that selected or configured products can not only be characterised geometrically and structurally, but also assessed and classified from a technical perspective.
The export options are tailored to typical requirements in planning and tendering. In Wildeboer Connect, for example, bills of quantities can be exported as GAEB, CSV or PDF files. Geometric formats such as DWG, DXF or IFC files are also available for further processing in planning systems.
Depending on the application, various results can be imported and processed further. These include, amongst other things, dimensioned product selections, configured variants, structured project data, bills of quantities and geometric data. The aim is not to treat this information in isolation, but to make direct use of it in subsequent stages.
