For our FK90 and FR90 fire dampers, installation with Hilti soft bulkhead, tested in accordance with EN 1366-2, is now also possible. Installation together with Hilti CFS-CT B / CP673 fire protection panels can be carried out in solid walls and ceilings as well as in metal stud walls.
The soft bulkhead installation of our FK90 and FR90 fire dampers together with the fire-protection-coated mineral wool panels has several advantages:
- More flexibility in the planning and installation of the fire dampers is possible due to
- installation in significantly larger openings
- an asymmetrical installation with soft bulkhead
- easier replacement or re-installation with soft bulkhead
- time savings through the use of pre-coated mineral wool panels
- The fire dampers can be installed directly in the course of ventilation duct installation
- Preferred application especially in Austria in compliance with ÖNorm H6025
