Information on packaging and packaging waste

PPWR information on our transport packaging

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, or PPWR for short, is the European regulation on packaging and packaging waste. It establishes a uniform framework for packaging requirements within the EU and also applies, amongst other things, to transport packaging in the B2B sector. Regulation (EU) 2025/40 came into force on 11 February 2025 and will generally apply from 12 August 2026.

On this page, Wildeboer Bauteile GmbH provides you with key information on the transport packaging used for dispatch. This includes details on packaging materials, the use of load carriers, and available conformity and supporting documents. This gives customers, business partners and other interested parties an up-to-date overview of relevant PPWR information relating to our deliveries.

We primarily use transport packaging to ensure the safe dispatch of our products. The aim is to guarantee product safety during storage, handling and transport, and to use packaging materials only to the extent necessary for the respective shipment. To this end, order items and consignments are consolidated as far as possible during the dispatch preparation stage. Standardised reusable load carriers, in particular Euro pallets, support the efficient use of materials and transport capacity.

The specific design of the transport packaging depends on the size, weight, fragility and transport requirements of the respective products. Corrugated cardboard boxes are predominantly used as standard packaging material. In addition, consignments may in certain cases be secured with stretch film, for example where products have unusual shapes, where there are product-specific hygiene or quality requirements, or where transport and storage conditions at the destination are unknown or beyond our control in individual cases.

To fulfil our information obligations, we therefore provide the relevant information on packaging, the packaging materials used, and the available conformity and supporting documents centrally via this PPWR information platform. Access is via the specified web address and via a QR code in the dispatch documents, in particular on the delivery note. This ensures that the latest information and supporting documents are easy to find.
