Sustainability reimagined: Our new solution for clay wall constructions makes it possible for the first time to safely integrate fire dampers into other ecological construction methods. Installation in walls with clay panels is now possible for the first time with our fire dampers, FR90 and FK90. This solution enables sustainable fire protection for future-oriented construction projects.

Clay panels offer numerous advantages, including:

• Ecologically and biologically harmless, compostable and 100% recyclable
• Very good noise protection, sound reduction index up to 56 dB possible
• High humidity regulation and pollutant absorption
• Not combustible and free of emissions according to DIN EN 13501-1

The application is particularly suitable for the interior finishing of timber and solid houses as well as listed buildings. The simple assembly, which does not require any complex bonding or levelling layers, saves valuable time and resources. This solution combines maximum safety with environmentally friendly materials while supporting a healthy indoor climate.

Our FR90 and FK90 fire dampers open up new possibilities for installation in solid wood constructions. In combination with the Wildeboer installation subframes, it will be possible in future to seal larger gaps of up to 45 mm with fire protection foam – even with uneven openings. This also enables subsequent adjustments directly on the construction site and solves common challenges in construction practice. Necessary adjustments can be made quickly and easily.

The solution is particularly suitable for thinner solid wood ceilings from 100 mm and walls from 90 mm thick and offers a fire resistance period of 30/ 60/ 90 minutes. This installation situation is optimal for construction projects that place high demands on both efficiency and fire protection.

Installation in soft seal [AVAILABLE SOON]

The soft seal has already proven itself on the market. In addition to the soft seal from Hilti, soft seal systems from other manufacturers have now been successfully tested. Thanks to extended tests, larger installation openings will be possible in the future, which will further simplify installation.

This expansion now allows for larger wall distances (gaps) of up to 600 mm. This not only increases the installation openings, but also simplifies installation with Weichschott – without compromising on safety. These optimisations make Weichschott an even more versatile solution for demanding construction projects that place equal emphasis on efficiency and safety.
