New installation options for maximum safety and flexibility

Modern fire protection faces new challenges: climate-friendly building materials such as clay, the growing use of timber construction, and flexible installation solutions are becoming increasingly important.

Our new solutions offer flexible and efficient options for optimising fire protection in modern construction projects accordingly. We focus on resource-efficient and time-saving installations that meet the highest safety standards.

With our latest installation options, fire dampers can be safely installed in a wide variety of materials and structures – from solid timber to walls with clay panels. In doing so, we are bringing future-proof solutions to construction practice that both ensure fire safety and meet the requirements of sustainable building.

Installation in walls with clay panels

Sustainable building requires new, ecological solutions – and Wildeboer has the right answer. The FK90, FK90K and FR90 fire dampers can now be reliably integrated in walls with clay boards using mortar or clay plaster mortar. This method of construction combines fire protection with ecological advantages:

  • Sustainable and environmentally friendly: clay panels are 100% recyclable, conserve resources and are harmless to the environment.
  • Optimal building physics features: regulation of humidity, pollutant absorption and up to 56 dB sound insulation
  • Proven safety: non-combustible according to DIN EN 13501-1 and tested for a fire resistance period of 30/ 60/ 90 minutes

Installation in solid wood constructions

The FK90 and FR90 fire dampers now offer even more flexibility for installation in solid timber construction. The tested combination with fire protection foam allows for:

  • Flexible installation: In combination with the installation subframe ER8 (for the FK90) or installation subframe RH (for the FR90), gaps of up to 45 mm can be securely sealed with fire protection foam. And that even with uneven installation openings!
  • Particularly suitable for thinner walls and ceilings with a fire resistance period of 30/ 60/ 90 minutes.
  • Alternative installation options:
    • Dry installation with installation subframe
    • Wet installation without frame with mortar

Installation in the soft seal

With the new tested installation situation, the installation of the FK90/FR90 fire damper in the soft seal is now even more flexible:

  • Extended installation options: Now possible with further tested soft seal systems from various manufacturers
  • Simplified installation: Larger distances to the wall (up to 600 mmenable larger and easier to create installation openings
