JKS multileaf damper
JKS multileaf dampers are suitable for use as throttle and shut-off dampers. They are maintenance-free and have a particularly flow-optimized housing geometry for lowest pressure losses. The blades are coupled in opposite or parallel rotation by means of a gear and external linkage with fully protected enclosure.

Our JKS multileaf dampers are suitable for use as throttle and shut-off dampers. They are used in ventilation and air conditioning systems to regulate volume flows, shut off ventilation ducts or equalize pressures between individual duct sections.
Energy efficiency
The products have a special casing geometry that minimizes resistance to air flow. This is important for minimizing energy consumption in ventilation systems.
Leak tightness classes for JKS multileaf dampers
The casing offers leak tightness class C in accordance with DIN EN 1751, and leak class 1 is achieved via the blades as a shut-off damper.
Hollow body blades, coupling linkage
The contour of the hollow body blades flows smoothly into the elastic seals attached to the front, thus providing the best conditions for optimum flow behavior. The blades can be coupled either in opposite or parallel rotation. The external linkage is completely enclosed.
Their highly flexible size range and elliptical blades offer optimum adaptation to the ventilation ducts with very low flow noise.
Blade alignment JKS multileaf damper
The multileaf dampers can be installed with horizontal and vertical blade alignment. Multiple installation above and next to each other is also possible.
Dimensions
The JKS multileaf damper is available in widths from 200 mm to 1,200 mm with 1 mm pitch and in heights from 100 mm to 1,500 mm with 5 mm pitch.
The housing frames are 120 mm long and have chamfered connection flanges. All width and height dimensions can be combined. Intermediate dimensions outside the grid specified in the JKS multileaf damper manual are possible.
Position indicator
The stainless steel drive and bearing shafts are mounted in brass bearing bushes and ensure maximum operational reliability even at high temperatures. JKS multileaf dampers also have an external position indicator. This indicator makes it easy to see and check the position of the blades from the outside.

JKS multileaf dampers are available with electric drives. The actuators are available with the following features:
