VR1-N volume flow controller for low volume flows

Mechanical volume flow controllers VR1-N are optimised for controlling small volume flows at a pressure range of 30-600 Pa. They are suitable for controlling supply air and exhaust air in ventilation ducts in ventilation and air conditioning systems. The round casing with nominal sizes from DN 80 to DN 315 and the control mechanism are made of galvanized sheet steel.

Setting the VR1-N volume flow controller

The volume flow setpoint value is specified using a setting device with a rotary pointer and scale. The volume flow can be set manually with one hand, with an optional lock, or using an optional motorised actuator.

Control accuracy and volume flow range

The volume flow controller VR1-N works without external energy. The set volume flow is automatically maintained at variable pressures with very good control accuracy of +/- 5% of the nominal volume flow or +/- 10% of the setpoint volume flow (whichever is greater). A volume flow range of 30 m³/h to 2,300 m³/h can be realised within a pressure range of 30 Pa to 600 Pa. The flow velocities range from 1.1 to 12.2 m/s.

Design Maintenance-free

VR1-N volume flow controllers are maintenance-free and operate independently of their position.

Product labelling

The volume flow controller for low volume flows VR1-N has a hygiene certificate from an independent testing institute and an environmental product declaration (EPD).

Option:

• Actuator-driven adjustment of the volume flow setpoint: auxiliary power is required; option to set two setpoints and any intermediate values
• Acoustic insulation reduces the sound radiation to the outside; suitable for controllers with motorised and manual adjustment
• SRC duct silencer reduces the flow noise in the ventilation ducts; available in lengths of 600 mm and 900 mm
