Product details

The electronic volume flow controller VRE1 is used to control variable and constant volume flows in the supply and exhaust air of a ventilation and air conditioning system. It is maintenance-free and can be installed in any position. The casing of the volume flow controller VRE1 is made of galvanized sheet steel.

Energy efficiency through fan control

The Wildeboer volume flow controller also provides an efficiency signal that is used to optimize the fan speed. This signal allows you to positively influence the system operating pressure in your building and increase energy efficiency. Wildeboer pioneered the round VRE1 and square VKE1 electronic volume flow controllers. The measurement method for determining the total pressure difference across the damper blade was first introduced to the market by Wildeboer.

Control accuracy of the VRE1 volume flow controller

The control variable is formed from the sum of the static and dynamic pressure as the total pressure difference across the damper blade, combined with the damper blade angle, ensuring very high control accuracy of the volume flow across the entire pressure range of the controller. The deviation is only approx. ±5 % to ±15 %. The volume flow ranges of the VRE1 volume flow controller from Wildeboer are at least 1 : 10, based on Vmin to Vmax.

Leak tightness classes

The casing of the VRE1 volume flow controller has leak tightness class C in accordance with DIN EN 1751; the leakage through the butterfly valve blade is in leak tightness class 3 or 4, depending on the size.

  • Overrides of the damper blade for the “open” and “closed” positions.

VRE1 volume flow controllers also have an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and are marked with a hygiene certificate from an independent testing institute.
