VK2 volume flow controller
Mechanical constant volume flow controllers VK2 for use in rectangular air ducts for supply air and exhaust air applications. They automatically maintain the set volume flow at a constant level with high control accuracy. The volume flow setpoint can be preset at the factory. Optionally available acoustic insulation provides thermal insulation and reduces sound radiation.

Product details
Mechanical volume flow controllers VK2 are suitable for the constant control of supply air and exhaust air in ventilation and air conditioning systems. The square casing with nominal sizes from 200 mm x 100 mm to 600 mm x 300 mm (W x H) and the control mechanism are made of galvanized sheet steel. VK2 volume flow controllers are maintenance-free and operate in any position.
Setting the VK2 volume flow controller
The volume flow setpoint is specified by means of a setting device via a rotary pointer and scale. The volume flow is set manually using a locking device or, alternatively, by motor.
Control accuracy and volume flow range
The VK2 volume flow controllers operate without external energy. They maintain the set volume flow automatically and constantly with very high control accuracy in the specified pressure range with a deviation of approximately ±5% to ±15% from the volume flow setpoint. The volume flow range is between Vmin=200 m³/h and Vmax= 7,000 m³/h, the pressure range between 50 Pa and 1,000 Pa.

VK2 volume flow controllers have a hygiene certificate from an independent testing institute and an environmental product declaration (EPD).
Options
- Actuator-driven adjustment of the volume flow setpoint. Depending on the selected actuator, two setpoints or any intermediate values are possible.
