BV90 fire protection valve (BV92 series)
Fire protection valves BV90, series BV92 are suitable for supply air and exhaust air in ventilation and air conditioning systems. They are maintenance-free thanks to the complete encapsulation of the operation unit and the release element. They enable high and infinitely adjustable volume flows. The product has CE marking in accordance with DIN EN15650 and general type approval for installation in fire-resistant suspended ceilings.

Fire protection valves BV90, series BV92 consist of a mounting socket to be installed in walls or ceilings, with the valve disc inserted into it. The special and optimized design of the fire protection valves BV90, series BV92 is suitable for high, continuously adjustable volume flows.
Design of BV90 fire protection valve
The valve disc and mounting housing are made of steel and powder-coated in RAL 9010 (white). The 70°C thermal release device is made of stainless steel. BV90 fire protection valves are available in sizes DN100 to DN200.
Maintenance-free design
The fire protection valves are maintenance-free. Thanks to the complete encapsulation of the operation unit and the release element, no cleaning to maintain function or recurring lubrication and adjustment are necessary. The functional test is carried out by opening and closing on site.
Area of application and installation situation for fire protection valve BV90
The BV90 fire protection valves of the BV92 series are suitable for both supply air and exhaust air. They can be installed in solid walls and ceilings, in lightweight partition walls, in shaft walls and in fire-resistant suspended ceilings. Installation can be dry or wet. The installation position and air direction are arbitrary.
Test certificates
Tested in accordance with EN 1366-2, they comply with the latest state of the art. They are CE-marked in accordance with DIN EN 15650.
With the present certificate MPA-BS 6000/593/18 on the fire behavior of the building materials used, these air valves also meet the usage requirements of the Model Administrative Regulation for Technical Building Rules (MVV TB) and the Model Ventilation System Guideline (M-LüAR).
The BV90 fire protection valves can be installed in independently fire-resistant suspended ceilings made of all common building materials, including metal ceilings, and are approved in accordance with general type approval Z-41.8-697.
Product markings
A hygiene certificate has been issued for this product by an independent hygiene institute, confirming its conformity with VDI 6022-1.
