The BS2-VR-01 volume flow and pressure controller modules enable the connection of up to four electronic volume flow and/or pressure controllers. The modules can be used to optimize the energy efficiency and thus the costs of a ventilation and air conditioning system. In addition, relevant control functions can be easily implemented with the help of the Wildeboer Net software as part of a building management system.

The BS2-VR-01 volume flow and pressure controller module of the BS2 field bus system is an important component of a ventilation and air conditioning system control in a building. The module from the Wildeboer-Net field bus system has connection options for up to four electronic volume flow controllers and/or pressure controllers from Wildeboer. The modules can be used to significantly optimize the energy efficiency of a ventilation and air conditioning system.

Control of connected controllers

The parameterizable calendar control can specify supply and exhaust air volume flows for connected controllers on a time-controlled basis depending on building usage. Sequential controls ensure demand-based specification by integrating presence detectors and CO2 switches. Window contacts can also be integrated to override the connected controllers. For example, to close the controllers as soon as a window is opened. The resulting reduction in the system's outdoor air volume flow leads to a clear reduction in the energy required by the entire ventilation system and ensures savings on the cost side.

Monitoring volume flow and pressure controller module

Monitoring functions enable graphical analysis of the ventilation conditions of the system. Adjustments can be made at any time from a central location.

Technical specifications

  • The modules store data permanently, even in the event of a power failure.
  • With Euro plug and 1.5 m connecting duct for direct connection to a 230 V AC socket provided by the customer. Alternatively, the Euro plug on the module can be removed for permanent connection.
  • LEDs for displaying operating data.
  • Real-time clock with leap year correction and summer/winter time changeover.
  • Operating voltage 24 V DC for the connected controllers from the module.
  • Connected VRE1/VKE1 controllers are automatically recognized in full by the module and their factory-set customer-specific parameters, type, and size are read out.
  • Connected MP bus-compatible controllers (Wildeboer brand) are automatically recognized by the module and their factory-preset parameters are read out. The type and size must be selected manually according to the respective controller.
  • Communication between the module and the connected controllers via RS485 or MP bus.
  • The SM‑01 interface module is required to connect VRE1/VKE1 controllers.
