KS2-CPU-01 main control unit
The KS2-CPU-01 is the main control unit of the KS2 compact control unit. In combination with the KS2-PS-01, the basic configuration allows the connection of 8 peripheral modules. The connection to other Wildeboer Net system components can be established via the LAN interfaces of the CPU module with integrated switch. This allows for simple and effective building system control for fire protection components and ventilation components.
Technical details
- Membrane keypad for operation
- LED operating indicators
- LAN interfaces with integrated switch for easy integration with other Wildeboer Net system components
- Galvanically isolated digital inputs
- Galvanically isolated multifunctional parameterizable inputs for implementing line monitoring or as an extension of the digital inputs
- Integrated signal relay outputs
Product details
The KS2-CPU-01 CPU module is the main control unit of the KS2 compact control unit. The module enables priority control, e.g. of fire dampers on site via the membrane keypad and the OLED display.
The KS2 compact control unit is part of the overall Wildeboer-Net system and is used to control and monitor fire protection and ventilation components in buildings.
Connection of Wildeboer Net system components
The LAN interfaces with integrated switch form the connection to the other Wildeboer Net system components together with the CPU module of the KS2 compact control unit:
- Wildeboer Net software WiNet-SW-02 and the associated control unit WiNet-ZB-03 or a PC provided by the customer
- Wildeboer-Net-GW gateways
- Up to 31 additional KS2-CPU-01 main control units or BS2-SC-02 subnet controllers
Connection options for main control unit
The integration of a wide variety of inputs/outputs on the main control unit allows the user to connect a wide range of sensors or actuators. Additional peripheral modules and thus also costs for e.g. I/O modules can be effectively saved. The flexible connection options of the module thus offer a wide range of solutions for the requirements of building control systems:
- Fire dampers with thermal-mechanical release device
- Fire protection valves
- Sensors and actuators
- Interface to building management system and/or fire alarm control panel
- Monitored, wired transmission paths
Trigger groups
In order to ensure the internal compartmentalization of a building in the event of a fire, additional fire dampers must often be closed when a fire damper or smoke detector is triggered. Trigger groups are formed for this purpose.
The inputs and outputs of the multifunctional IO interface of the KS2-CPU-01 can be easily integrated into trigger groups.
The control scenarios required for internal compartmentalization to keep smoke out, as prescribed by building regulations, can thus be quickly and flexibly parameterized.
Calendar controls
In addition, all inputs and outputs can be integrated into calendar controls to automate product-specific actions at defined times or at fixed intervals.

Optional accessories
Two top-hat rail connectors connect the peripheral bus of the modules to each other if they are installed on different DIN top-hat rails. The two top-hat rail connectors are connected by using a pre-assembled P-Net cable.
